Wed July 27 We are meeting at the student center 6-8pm Matthew 5:27 ff
We will divide the guys and girls for this discussion of Jesus' teaching on adultery. Risa Starr will teach the girls and I will teach the boys. The boys are planning to watch a short ( 12 min) interview between James Dobson and Ted Bundy. Bundy was executed in 1989 for crimes he committed. In the interview he discusses his addiction to pornography and that every single person he knew on death row had this same problem. It was produced by Focus on the Family and was presented to a teen audience. It is probably on the internet somewhere if you would like to preview it. The title of the video is "Pornography: progressive,addictive, and deadly" and was part of a series called: "Life on the edge."

WED AUG 3 schedule Student center 6-8pm
We are planning to watch a documentary called: " UNPLANNED." This is the story of Abby Johnson who was a college student at Texas A & M a few years ago. She initiallly volunteered to help Planned parenthood and ended up being the executive director at the Bryan facility. After several years, she experienced a major turning point and came to the realization of what was actually happening at the office. This is the story of how she walked away from planned parenthood and became an advocate for the pro life movement. I would highly recommend this story to you and I hope that you will pray about attending this event as a family. ( running time is approx 1 hour)
Wed Aug 10 The student ministry is planning to participate in the the VBS end of the summer party. ( location: at the church) 6-8pm
